History class

Every Thursday a few homeschoolers we know come together and learn about history. 2 years ago we studied American history.This year we're studying the Renaissance and reformation.It's not as fun as American history but it's pretty cool.We learned about charlemagne and other famous people from that time.but we always get to see our friends after the class and play football our swords.

The Hot Chocolate Run

Next year I'm going to turn 13.So my parents made a series of challenges for me like reading a lot of books.But on December 1 I'm going to run a 5k race which equals 3.2 miles.I've been training by running about 2.5 miles every other day.The actual race has more than 2000 people running in it and the first 2500 get a mug thus the name Hot Chocolate.So pray I can do it with my mom.

Days Till Christmas

I'm going to start putting how many days There are until Christmas.So there are 28 more days until Christmas.

Having Celiac

Have I told you that I have a disease called celiac. It means I'm allergic to wheat,barley,rye,and other grains.But I can have rice flour,potato, flour,and other flours i can't remember.But if you have Celiac these little hairs called villi in your small intestine flatten out and can't break gluten down. So gluten can get into your blood and travel anywhere in your body ending up making you feel terrible.You can get headaches,stomach aches,you can feel like you have a cold all the time.I had awful stomach aches and I felt like I had a cold all the time.My stomach aches were so bad sometimes I couldn't stand up!It was terrible but after we found out I had it I felt so much better it was amazing!But there are stores like Whole foods and trader joes so it made it a lot easier.So that's my story about celiac disease.

Getting Back Into The Swing Of Things

Today for the first time in a week we did school.It was hard but I think God helped me with my attitude toward my family.So it was a pretty good day.I don't know about you but I dislike school a lot.But tonight is our family fun night every monday we have dessert and play a game or something.It's really fun we get to have fun as a family every Monday.

Finding Martimello

Your probably wondering Who Martimello is? Well he is a cute little miniature collie who we found in our back yard.Buddy, Our dog,is having a blast.They were playing outside and running around and just having a really fun time.His collar said that he was from Nantucket! That is a long way for a little dog to travel. Nantucket is an island off the coast of Cape Cod.I hope his family calls us and gets him back though it's awful to lose a pet.

Getting Our Christmas Tree

Every year, the day after Thanksgiving, our family goes and gets a Christmas Tree.This year we went to the Rocky Acres Christmas Tree Farms.Our guide was a 12 year old like me but he was the friendliest 12 year old I know!After we got our Christmas tree we loaded it on to a little tractor and he took me and my brother cooper on a little ride up to his house where we found the tree was only 18$!Which was awesome because last year we paid around 40$.So this year we found a tree and a new friend.
